PLSCA Scholarships
Each year, PLSCA awards scholarships. Awards are granter to all students accepted into the program. The amount of the award and the number of awards granted is based on the amount of money raised.

While scholarships may be awarded to any student, priority is placed on those who come from single parent households.

Who is Eligible to Apply?
High school seniors who have been accepted to a four-year college or university are elegible to apply. The college or university attending must be forty (40) or more miles away from home and the student must be living in the city where the colleg or university is located.

When should I apply?
Scholarship applications for current high school seniors are available in late January. Scholarship applications are due in our Stockton office no later than April 15th. Scholarship decisions are made in mid-June.

How do I get an application?
Download the application. The forms available below are are in the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.PDF), so you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader loaded on your system to view and print these forms. The form contains electronically fillable fields and is intended to be filled-in, printed, then either faxed, or mailed, or dropped off at the PLSCA Office.

What If You've received a PLSCA Scholarship Before? Successful undergraduate who have received a scholarship through PLSCA will continue to receive support until they finish their education or five (5) years have passed whichever comes first and they:

  1. Continue to be enrolled in a four-year college or university as mentioned above.
  2. Provide proof of matriculation at the college or university attending.
  3. Maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average.
  4. Provide a copy of their grades at the end of each quarter or semester.
The information is due in our office no later than two weeks after the end of the quarter or semester.
